FLG Partners with Oscar Mike Apparel to Further Adaptive Sport Opportunities for Injured Veterans

Freedom Learning Group (FLG) is proud to announce an exclusive apparel partnership with Oscar Mike. The origin of both organizations are rooted in their dedication to service to others, especially Veterans, and this collaboration is no exception.

Oscar Mike uses sales from their apparel store and non-profit foundation to provide funding for injured Veterans the opportunities to participate in life-changing adaptive sports.

Founder and CEO of Oscar Mike, Noah Currier, says, “FLG’s commitment to support deserving communities by taking real action is authentic and unwavering. When organizations like FLG and OM collaborate like this, these communities we love to serve will always benefit. Oscar Mike is truly excited and honored to partner with FLG and to get On-the-Move together.”

The North Star for FLG has always been about bringing people together, inspiring hope and creating change for Military Spouses, Veterans and displaced professionals. Through these partnerships we are able to connect with and walk alongside the individuals and communities we serve. This apparel collaboration will make an impactful difference in the lives of injured Veterans keeping them on the move.

“Selecting Oscar Mike as our apparel provider makes perfect sense,” says FLG CEO, Elizabeth O’Brien. “We look to join forces with partners who share similar organizational mission, values and goals – Oscar Mike is no exception. In addition to their remarkable story, the quality of their clothing is unbeatable. We can’t wait to get FLG swag in the hands of our global workforce!”

As November celebrates Military Family & Veterans Appreciation Month, FLG is glad to highlight the resilience of one of the 3 million Veteran-owned businesses around the country. In total, Veteran-owned businesses employ 5.7 million people – equivalent to $1.2 trillion in sales and $210 billion in yearly payroll, according to the US Small Business Administration. Though Veterans make up just 8% of our population, they account for 30% of business owners. From November 1-5, SBA and its extensive partner network honor the strength of the Veteran business community by hosting events across the country and sharing information about the resources available to veteran entrepreneurs during Veteran Small Business Week.
