John Jordan



John is the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Freedom Learning Group. He is thrilled to be able to contribute to FLG’s mission by utilizing his educational publishing experience to help employ military spouses and transitioning veterans. And speaking of experience, John has been in the publishing business in one form or another for the past 32 years. He has been working in educational publishing for 26 of those years making stops at Pearson Education, Oxford University Press, Wolters Kluwer along the way. Since 1999 John has concentrated in the ed tech field producing such best-selling products as “Pearson’s Real Nursing Skills”, the first comprehensive digital video training series in Nursing education, Wolters Kluwer’s Health Sciences “DocuCare” the first browser-based educational electronic health record.  


John has been married to his wife Donna for 27 years and has two children Kierra, 24 (who works in the movie and commercial industry) and Jack, 21 (who hopes to fly as a naval aviator once he graduates from the University of Rochester). Hobbies include: watching, researching and coaching baseball, doting on his two spoiled dogs and spending too much time on Youtube watching old movies.
