Subject Matter Expert
Freedom Learning Group is hiring Subject Matter Experts in Microsoft Azure to create onscreen lecture videos, as well as author assessment questions and other learning resources for a Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect course.
WE ARE HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING TEAM MEMBER ROLES

➢ Instructional Designer
PREFERRED TEAM MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS
➢ Cloud Architect.
➢ Azure Cloud Engineer.
➢ Enterprise Architect.
➢ Experience teaching Microsoft Azure or other IT certifications with the following instructor skills:
• Configuration management • Migration experience from data center/on premise to cloud • Cloud security compliance practices and tools, such as Zero Trust • Experience building cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure architecture and governance • Expertise designing and implementing Microsoft Azure solutions including compute, network, storage, and security • Expert knowledge of All Microsoft/Windows OS including architecture and system level resources • Proficient in PowerShell, Bash Script and Container Based deployments and infrastructure automation • Virtualization • Business continuity and disaster recovery • Network principles, protocols and standards • Experience with IT (on premise and cloud based) infrastructure planning, performance monitoring and development • Azure Native Tools • Experience designing learning objectives and using Bloom’s Taxonomy guidelines.
➢ Experience scripting and recording video lectures.
➢ Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes.
➢ Excellent remote work communication skills, highly responsive.
➢ High level of comfort using a variety of technical tools and being able to move between platforms with agility.
➢ Excellent writing skills and command of the English language.
➢ Experience copyediting and editing academic content.
LONG SUMMARY/KNOWLEDGE AREAS
The course we are developing will cover many areas within the MS Azure domain. The key to our success with this course will be finding the best candidate to develop our onscreen lecture series.
Part time. Projects will have set milestones and deadlines, but there are no set hours and all contract work is self paced provided that deadlines are met. Part time contributors must still commit to some level of daily interaction with the FLG team.
Remote/Ability to work from home from anywhere in the world. Must have reliable internet access as the projects will be managed and coordinated via email and teleconference as needed.
