What are past interns saying?

Elementary Education

2019 Cohort Graduate

Working with Freedom Learning Group through the internship program with Colorado State University-Global helped me better understand the role of Instructional Designers in course design and development.  Using and developing Open Educational Resources (OER) material has expanded my awareness of the wide variety and amount of resources available as OER.

2019 Cohort Graduate

My internship with Freedom Learning Group has expanded my knowledge of Instructional Design and developing OER. Because of my internship, I've been able to quit my second job and focus my full attention on working in my professional field while expanding my abilities to volunteer with military spouses and veterans. The coursework was challenging, rewarding, and prepared me to step into the role of a project manager helping to develop OER content for clients with Freedom Learning Group.

Special Education

2019 Cohort Graduate

My internship with FLG has given me the experience and education needed to advance in my career without worrying about where and when our next move will be. I am still able to follow my passion for making education accessible to everyone- just in a different and more portable way.
