PROJECT DESCRIPTION

As part of the FLG Development Team, you will be selecting, authoring, and reviewing content for an Introduction to Statistics digital course in an adaptive education platform, to include course framework and question authoring.

WE ARE HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING TEAM MEMBER ROLES

➢ Project Manager

➢ Instructional Content Author

➢ Assessment / Quiz Question Author

➢ Quality Assurance / Accuracy Checking Expert

PREFERRED TEAM MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS

➢ Experience in instructional design.

➢ Familiarity with Bloom’s Taxonomy

➢ Degree in Statistics or closely related field, preferably a Master's Degree or higher

➢ Higher education teaching and/or content development experience

➢ Ability to pick-up and learn new computer systems

➢ Independence and organization

LONG SUMMARY/KNOWLEDGE AREAS

➢ Data Collection and manipulation

➢ Confidence Intervals

➢ Hypothesis Testing

➢ Inference for Means and Proportions

➢ Chi Square Tests

➢ ANOVA

➢ Linear Regression

➢ Multiple Regression

PROJECT DURATION

3.5 Months

REQUIRED AVAILABILITY

 

10-20 hours per week. Projects will have set milestones and deadlines, but there are no set hours and all contract work is self paced provided that deadlines are met. Part time contributors must still commit to some level of daily interaction with the FLG team.

LOCATION

Remote/Ability to work from home from anywhere in the world. Must have reliable internet access as the projects will be managed and coordinated via email and teleconference as needed.
