PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Review 18 states high school US History standards provided by the client to create a table of contents for a new history textbook that targets as many common standards as possible across all selected states. Author passages and assessments for the book set to a predetermined Lexile score based on the approved table for contents. Edit the text book and assessments to accommodate lower lexile scores. Translate the textbook and assessments from English to Spanish.

➢ Instructional Content Author

➢ Assessment / Quiz Question Author

➢ Copyeditor

➢ Quality Assurance / Accuracy Checking Expert

➢ Instructional Designer

PREFERRED TEAM MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS

➢ Experience in instructional design.

➢ Familiarity with Bloom’s Taxonomy.

➢ Familiarity with standards for high school curriculum.

➢ Education degree in History or teaching experience in History.

➢ Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

PROJECT DURATION

Three Months

REQUIRED AVAILABILITY

 

Full time is preferred. Part time hours are available with minimum of 15-20 hours per week. Projects will have set milestones and deadlines, but there are no set hours and all contract work is self paced provided that deadlines are met.

LOCATION

Remote/Ability to work from home from anywhere in the world. Must have reliable internet access as the projects will be managed and coordinated via email and teleconference as needed.
